A Tradition of Family
When Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church opened an account with F&M Bank in 2014, the organizations’ similarities were obvious. Notably, both had been serving their communities for more than 100 years and were stronger than ever.
While its roots stretched back to 1890, Shady Grove was ready to move into a new era of technology without losing the people-centered focus that had always defined the church. F&M Bank stood ready to assist. According to Pastor Andrew Davis Jr., “The staff helped us transition online, providing mobile support and guiding us in exploring additional banking services with patience.”
That support was just one piece of the puzzle Shady Grove sought when looking for a new financial home. A personal touch that can only come from a local bank, along with the convenience of multiple offices, also topped the church’s list. F&M Bank’s reputation for strength and service was simply icing on the cake for the congregation.
Through the years, Shady Grove has experienced that reputation firsthand and can confirm it’s well-earned. In addition to receiving exceptional service with every transaction, Pastor Davis attests that F&M Bank’s expertise has proven instrumental, especially recently. “They’ve offered valuable financial advice to help us make informed decisions, and the support of the staff…will assist us as we go forward with our growth,” he says.
Strong leadership and a service mentality—that’s the story of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church and the bank it relies on.
